I got some meaningful and random objects that would be easy to scan, and arranged them in various positions, experimenting with grouping different items and backgrounds.
As an experimentation these images came out well, with the various backgrounds highlighting the objects, which symbolise the random collection of items in the attic. I can always improve on this by perhaps using different items and material for the background, and continue experimenting.
